This method book gives the basic informations and exercises for percussion beginners. It describes many percussion instruments (Triangle, Woodblock, Claves, Maracas, Shaker, Cabasa, Cowbell, Bongos, Tambourine, Snare Drum, Bass Drum, cymbals etc..) explaining the correct hand positions on each instrument. Then follows some basic rhythmic reading notions and many simple rhythms.
