Cristiano Micalizzi is one of the most respected drummers in Italy today. Performer, teacher and author of many successful drum methods, he graduated with a Bachelor’s deegree in Performance at Beerklee College of Music of Boston. He is very active as a freelance performer and clinician playng in many different styles of music. Has performed live with: Darryl Jones, Bernard Fowler, Tim Ries (The Rolling Stones Project), Frank McComb, Ben Sidran, Tollak Ollestad, Jim Kelly, Bruce Bartlett, Dave Binney, Lynley Marthe, Z-Star, Sharlene Hector, Joy Malcom, Deitra Farr, Belinda Skinner, Herbie Goins, Cristal White, Jean Pierre Como, Stefano Di Battista and many popular italian artists such as Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, Gianni Morandi, Riccardo Cocciante, Anna Oxa, Massimo Ranieri, Ornella Vanoni, Ron, Loredana Bertè, Max Gazzè, Daniele Silvestri, Carmen Consoli and many others. He has also recorded world wide for many important labels such as Universal, Emi, Sony, Bmg, Virgin, Polygram in several projects featuring, among others, musicians as Bobby Kimball, Abraham Laboriel, Carlos Rios, Luis Conte, Tim Pierce, Phil Palmer and Ivan Lins. Cristiano Micalizzi is also very buisy performing for tv shows and recording for movies and commercials in Italy.
